María Teresa Doménech Carbó, B.Sc., D.Phil. in Chemistry (1989, University of Valencia), since 1999 professor in Science of Conservation, Universitat Politécnica de València, since 2005 director of the IRP of the UPV. In a research career spanning 18 years, she has published over 150 papers on chemical and physical methods of analysis of artworks and has made over 120 presentations of her research work at international seminars and conferences. She has supervised 11 research students successfully for the degree of Ph.D. Professor Doménech-Carbó is director of the Arché Journal of the IRP. She has directed regional, national and European research projects.

Marisa Martinez Bazán is D. Phil in Fine Arts since 1999, is senior lecturer in conservation and restoration of cultural property in the Universitat Politècnica de València since 2012 in a research career spanning 15 years. She has published over 29 papers on colorimetry applied to the field of conservation and restoration and has made over 25 presentations of her research work at international seminars and conferences. Laura Osete Cortina is D. Phil. in Chemistry. Since 2009 is technician in charge of the Laboratory of analysis of artworks in the Instituto de Restauración del Patrimonio of the Universitat Politécnica de València. In a research career spanning fourteen years, she has published over thirty papers on chemical and physical methods of analysis of artworks and has made over forty presentations of her research work at international seminars and conferences.; Carla Alvarez Romero
